Cookie policy.
We use only essential cookies needed to keep this site working, no analytics, tracking or third-party cookies are set without your consent.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the site operator.
2. Cookies we use
The Walsall Awards site currently uses only the following cookies:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
wasess |
PHP session cookie. Keeps your CSRF token tied to your browser so forms can submit safely. | Browser session | Essential |
wa_cookie_consent |
Remembers your choice in the cookie banner so it doesn’t re-appear. | 180 days | Essential |
3. Third parties
This site uses Google Fonts (Bodoni Moda and Lato). Google receives technical data such as your IP address and browser type when it serves the font files. No tracking or advertising cookies are set by these requests.
Videos on this site do not load until you press play. When you do, the video is played from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced service (youtube-nocookie.com), which may then store information on your device under Google’s privacy policy.
When you pay for tickets you are taken to Stripe’s secure checkout page, on Stripe’s own website, which sets the cookies it needs to take payment safely. See Stripe’s cookie policy.
If we add analytics or any other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and the cookie banner to seek your consent first.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies via their settings. Doing so for the essential cookies above will prevent some site features (notably form submissions) from working.
